ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
At PMCH, we recognise our full responsibility in respect of environmental protection and accept that it should constitute a fundamental element in company procedures and long-term strategy. It is our policy to ensure, in all aspects of our business, to minimise the harmful impact on the environment. Management staff and employees are made aware of PMCH’s environment policy and are encouraged to abide by it.
PMCH complies with all existing environmental legislation applicable to the company and it is our objective to achieve our business aims whilst striving for environmental improvement.
Our objectives include:
- Making sure any new applicable environmental legislation is incorporated into this policy.
- Promoting an understanding of environmental issues amongst our employees.
- Encouraging good road safety and good driving practice by providing a high standard of training.
- Using a local company to recycle our used tyres.
- Using our larger vehicles to reduce road congestion.
- Maintaining our vehicles to the highest standard to ensure they are running efficiently.
This policy is maintained and regularly reviewed by the Senior Management to ensure its continuing suitability and relevance to the Company’s activities. The policy is communicated to all levels within PMCH.
